Lee Summerell

Lee joined Living Cities in 2021 as an Investment Associate with the Capital for the New Majority team and supports its efforts for Living Cities’ impact investments.

Prior to joining Living Cities, Lee worked on the small business lending team at Self-Help Credit Union where she focused on building business operations tools to aid North Carolina child cares during the uncertainty of COVID-19. Lee began her career with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts focused on corporate fundraising. She is passionate about leveraging business resources to be used as a force for good.

Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Davidson College and an MBA with a concentration in Social Entrepreneurship from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
