Laura Ravinder

Laura Ravinder is a recent graduate student at the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy where she is focusing on social policy and community development.

Laura joined Social Policy Research Associates in June of 2016. Prior, she served as an intern on Living Cities’ Collective Impact team while completing her graduate degree at the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy.

Before the University of Chicago, Laura worked as the Annual Fund Manager at YWCA Boston, which works to reduce systemic racial and gender disparities and improve social cohesion in Boston. She has also worked at nonprofit organizations that focus on economic empowerment and entrepreneurship education in Oakland and Los Angeles. Laura graduated with a BS in Physics from Azusa Pacific University in Southern California.
