Joseph was an intern at Living Cities with the Evidence Building team. He supported the organization’s efforts to capture learning and experience from partner cities and organizations across the country on job creation and other critical focus areas.

Joseph is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree, specializing in policy, at New York University’s Wagner School of Public Service. Prior to joining Living Cities, Joseph worked with Citizens Committee for New York City supporting the development of grassroots community organizations, and with a New York City Council Member supporting community engagement efforts and conducting policy and budget analysis.

Before enrolling at NYU and moving to New York in 2016, Joseph spent five years in Foundation Relations for the University of Michigan where he consulted with faculty seeking foundation grants. He was also a founding board member of a local Young Nonprofit Professionals Network Chapter and spent seven years responding to house fires as an American Red Cross disaster volunteer. He earned his Bachelor of Public Policy degree at the University of Michigan’s Ford School.

Joseph resides in Sunnyside, Queens with his wife of one year, Katie.
