Joan Tally is an Executive Director in Morgan Stanley’s Global Sustainable Finance (GSF) group where she manages operations for the Firm’s CRA business nationally and leads community development lending and investing efforts in the Northeast.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Joan spent 12 years at the New York City Housing Development Corporation, most recently serving as Executive Vice President for Real Estate and Chief of Staff. Her previous experience includes planning and development work at the Manhattan Borough President’s Office and with Neighborhood Housing Services of NYC.
Joan is currently Chair of the LISC NYC Local Advisory Committee and serves on the Board of Settlement Housing Fund, Inc. and the Real Estate committee of Project Renewal. Joan received a Master of Urban Planning and a Bachelor of Arts from Hunter College of the City University of New York. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and two sons.
