Evelyn’s career path has been varied, ranging from the university to corporate and nonprofit sectors. One constant interest has been present every step of the way: helping others do their job well and being a positive agent for change.

Before joining Living Cities, Evelyn worked as the Manager of People and Culture at the Vera Institute of Justice. She has worked for Columbia University, Urban Outfitters Inc., and CFY, a national education nonprofit.

Evelyn is a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) with the Society for Human Resource Management, and a Senior Professional of Human Resource (SPHR) with the HR Certification Institute. She graduated from Cornell University’s College of Human Ecology with a degree in Human Development. She is currently a student at the Milano School of International Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy at the New School working on a Masters in Organizational Change Management.

Evelyn is passionate about social justice and building organizational cultures that value and practice diversity, equity, and inclusion as a way to achieve greater social justice and organizational success.
