Edwin Torres is The Rockefeller Foundation Associate Director for the NYC Opportunities Fund. Edwin Torres joined The Rockefeller Foundation in 2009. Mr. Torres oversees the Foundation’s commitment to New York City, which focuses on creating economic inclusion. Torres also serves on the Foundation’s 100 Resilient Cities team, as well as on the Secure Livelihoods team, which is focused on expanding opportunity and creating inclusive markets in the changing global economy. Prior to joining The Rockefeller Foundation, Mr. Torres was Director of External Partnerships for Parsons the New School for Design. He has also served on the Arts and Culture team at The Ford Foundation. Mr. Torres holds a Master of Arts in Art History from Hunter College and a Master of Science in Management from The New School.
