Betsy Edasery is a former intern with the Collaborative Change team at Living Cities. Associate Consultant Betsy Edasery has extensive experience working for a range of organizations in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors and has a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning with a focus on community development and housing. Since joining TCC Group in 2013, Edasery has worked on a variety of strategic planning, evaluation, and capacity-building engagements with community and place-based foundations, health funders, funder collaboratives, family foundations and large private funders. Clients include: Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, Community Foundation for Greater New Haven, Santa Fe Community Foundation, St. David’s Foundation, Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment, LGBT Racial Justice Fund, The John Templeton Foundation, Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, Ford Foundation, and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Prior to joining TCC Group, Edasery served as a National Organizing Fellow with Resource Generation where she helped mobilize young people of color with wealth to leverage their resources for progressive social change. She also conducted research and supported grantees to share learnings at Living Cities—a collaborative of 22 of the largest foundations and financial institutions committed to improving the lives of low-income people and the cities where they live.
