Local businesses are essential to the national economy. To ensure all residents are living an abundant and dignified life, the US economy needs an equitable business environment and narratives that reimagine thriving businesses across racial lines. At Living Cities, we collaborate with our public sector partners to learn what policies and programs increase the amount of growing businesses owned by Black and brown people. Our private sector work uses capital investment as an important tool to shift power within systems. All of this work is done with a racial equity lens.
